Welcome to the HOPE08 Maidstone site, the link for all HOPE2008 activities across the town.
HOPE2008 is about churches and local agencies working in partnership to serve our community. We want to demonstrate Jesus' love in word and deed - by what we say and what we do.
Our aim is to bring hope where it's most needed in our community: by providing quality local services such as youth groups and parent and child, by social action projects in disadvantaged areas and by being a presence on our streets through street pastors and chaplaincies in clubs and shopping centres.
But we also want to bring hope to where it's needed by individuals: by helping people to understand God's response to their needs - that he both knows and cares about them.
Our hope is that through 2008 and beyond the church and community in Maidstone can work together to bring real transformation to our town, in schools, churches, homes and lives.
